The Akwa Ibom Bureau of Cooperatives and Rural Development is a key arm of the state government responsible for empowering cooperative societies and enhancing the socioeconomic wellbeing of rural communities across Akwa Ibom State.

As the coordinating body for cooperative governance and rural economic transformation, the Bureau works to ensure that every citizen—regardless of location—can access opportunity, funding, and support through organised community structures.

We serve as the bridge between grassroots innovation and government intervention.
